Vagator Beach is located 20 kilometres north of Panaji, the capital of Goa. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Vagator Beach from Panaji via NH 66. The nearest railway station to Vagator Beach is Madgaon Junction. It takes over one hour to travel from Madgaon to Vagator Beach distance of 52 km. Goa Airport is located one hour 20 min away from the beach. Distance from Vagator Beach to Goa Airport can be covered via hired taxis.

Vagator Beach to Calangute Beach distance: 9.6 km.
There are several government and private buses that run from Mapusa and Calangute to Vagator Beach. The nearest bus stop is Mapusa.
