Location

Small but mighty, Koynanagar is a picturesque town that has houses many signifcant landmarks. It is the home of the largest completed hydroelectric power plant in India, the Koyna Dam, which you can visit through the beautifully landscaped Nehru Garden. Next to the dam is Shivsagar Lake where you can go speed boating. There are also diverse species of birds and animals to see at the Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also trek up to the Ozarde Waterfall at the sanctuary where you will be rewarded with a stunning view of the green surroundings from the top. Koynanagar enjoys pleasant weather all through the year, making it a perfect year-round holiday spot.

The Resort

Drive up or take a bus to MTDC Koyna Resort that is perched right on top of a hill that overlooks the dam. The resort sprawls across the hilltop, with ample parking space that’s free for guests and a number of staying options, including select rooms and cottages that offer lake views. It also has a spacious play area for the kids and an on-site restaurant Zira that serves delicious vegetarian and non-vegetarian delicacies. With lush green views in the lap of nature, this resort is the perfect place to unwind and take a break from the city life.

• 18% GST is applicable on cancellation fees.
• If you cancel within 0-3 days prior to the arrival date you will be charged 100% of your booking amount as the cancellation charges.
• If you cancel within 4-7 days prior to the arrival date you will be charged 25% of your booking amount as the cancellation charges.
• If you cancel more than 8 days prior to the arrival date you will be charged 10% of your booking amount as the cancellation charges.
• In case of cancellation of booking booked through Credit/Debit Card, the refund will be made of in the name of Credit / Debit Card Holder's Bank only.
• In case of cancellation of booking made through Cash / D.D. or any other mode of payment, the refund will be made through cross cheque / RTGS / NEFT only.
• In case of booking made through M.T.D.C.'s travel agents, the cancellation / refund will be made by the concerned travel agents only.
• Restaurant attached at selected Resorts and Hotel, hence cooking is not allowed in rooms and in resort premises.
• Due to load shedding of Electricity supply, MTDC would operate Generator Sets partly in some of the Resorts. However, this would not substitute 24 hrs. electricity supply for operation of A.C. units, Geysers etc. In that case NO REFUND would be given.
